Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our preparation and installation. Eligible Prestige Resin flooring installations include a 5-year residential or 2-year commercial workmanship warranty, subject to the terms, exclusions and care requirements below.
Warranty periods
Cover starts on the date of practical completion, when the job is finished and handed back to you, not the date you first enquired.
From the date of practical completion of a residential installation.
From the date of practical completion of a commercial installation.
Coverage
Prestige Resin warrants that your coating system was installed with due care and skill, in line with the accepted written scope. During the applicable period, this warranty covers verified defects directly caused by our preparation or application workmanship.
Exclusions
This express warranty covers our workmanship, not everything that can go wrong with a floor. To the extent permitted by law, it does not cover failure or damage caused by matters outside our workmanship.
These exclusions apply only to this additional express warranty. They do not exclude, restrict or modify your consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded — see Australian Consumer Law below.
Your part
A workmanship warranty is a two-way arrangement. Looking after the floor the way we tell you to is part of what keeps a claim straightforward.
Making a claim
Contact us as soon as reasonably possible after noticing an issue, ideally within 14 days, so we can assess the cause properly. A delay doesn't remove your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, but it may make it harder to work out what caused the problem or stop it getting worse.
Call, email, or use the claim form below.
Your name, installation address, phone and email, installation date, invoice or warranty-certificate number, a description of the issue, when you first noticed it, and clear photos or video.
We look at the floor to work out what caused the issue and whether it's covered, before agreeing on a remedy.
What happens next
Every claim is inspected and assessed on its own facts. We can't promise an automatic repair, replacement or a guaranteed outcome before we've actually looked at the floor.
If a claim is accepted
If we accept a claim, we'll choose a reasonable remedy appropriate to the defect, within a reasonable time and at no charge for the covered work. That may include:
A local repair may differ slightly in colour, texture, flake distribution or gloss from the surrounding, aged coating. This warranty does not promise an invisible repair. Nothing here limits any remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
You're responsible for the ordinary cost of contacting us and supplying photos or proof of purchase. For an accepted claim within our normal Perth service area, we cover reasonable inspection, labour and material costs for the approved remedy. Any unusual travel, access or third-party costs are agreed with you in writing before they're incurred.
Your rights
This workmanship warranty is additional to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. It does not exclude, restrict or replace those rights, and they do not stop applying once the 5-year or 2-year period above ends.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with a service, you're entitled to cancel the service contract and get a refund for the unused portion, or compensation for its reduced value. You're also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods.
If a failure with goods or a service isn't a major failure, you're entitled to have it fixed within a reasonable time. If that isn't done, you're entitled to a refund for the goods, and to cancel the service contract and get a refund for any unused portion.
You're also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
